Here is an example of a watch from the thirties, with fixed soldered bars, and it shows how the Perlon strap is looped at the watch.
With new watches with spring bars it works exactly the same way!
And now, the advantage is clear: even if triggered (by snagging, etc.)
a spring bar, the watch remains at your wrist - with a normal strap, whether leather or steel band, the watch would be along with the band in the pond (in the crevasse, in the toilet, etc.) or landed on the ground, giving an appearance which is not exactly desired...
Quite apart from the anger and the credibility problem with the insurance...
Other advantages: no sweat! The strap consists of a woven net, is washable, electrically insulating and anti-allergic. In addition, these straps are so ridiculously cheap that it is worthwhile to shop one with a new watch!
EULIT watch straps exist in three models:
Kristall, Panama and Palma.
Kristall and Panama are one-piece straps, Palma is available as two-piece strap under the name Palma Pacific.
The KRISTALL model will from now on be available in black only (normal length and XL) - the other colours will change to PANAMA!
An overview of the available combinations are in the table below!
Orders of straps no more available in KRISTALL will be replaced with the equivalent straps in PANAMA!
